Tenant FAQs
Answers to your frequently asked questions
-
Can you hold a place before I apply?
In order to treat all of our potential tenants fairly, we do not hold any property until a lease has been signed and deposit paid. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
We ask for the first month’s rent and security deposit upon signing a lease. -
Is the deposit refundable?
The security deposit is refundable, minus any charges for damage done to the unit. Normal wear and tear does not apply. -
Who needs a co-signer?
We ask for income and employment verification for each applicant. If you don’t qualify on the strength of that alone, we will ask for you to provide a co-signer. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
You can find our application under the Prospective Tenant section of this website. -
How do I pay rent?
You can pay rent through our tenant portal easily and in whatever way is most convenient for you: electronic funds transfer, or a no-hassle automatic bank transfer. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Before you get a pet, give us a call! We can check your lease and make sure pets are allowed in the particular unit you’re renting. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
We require a 30-day notice if you’re planning to move, but we are happy to revise a lease to account for changes in roommates. -
